Question 1: How do I receive my artwork?
If you live locally, you’re more than welcome to find a time and date that is convenient for both you and I to do a meet-up to pick up your artwork! Otherwise, the artwork will be shipped to you with a tracking number provided and the additional cost of packaging and shipping will need to be covered by you once it is ready to be sent off.
-
Question 2: Can you frame my artwork?
Yes! For an additional fee, I will find a professional framer for you near me so you don’t have to deal with the hassle of finding your own professional framer near you. Once the framer gives me a quote on the price of the custom framing, I will reach out to you to and let you know if you want to continue to move forward with it.
-
Question 3: Do you only work from photographs?
Mostly, yes, but not particularly;
if you provide different photos for one vision you have in mind, I can combine them all. I also can create your vision based off of many different parts of images and put together a piece of art that captures each unique request.
If it is a realistic pet portrait or portrait of any family members or any other realistic commission such as ultrasound photographs, family homes, etc., then I work strictly from the photographs YOU provide for me.
In this case, if you would like to book a commission like those, it is required to provide at least one high quality photograph for me to create the artwork. You are allowed to send as many to me as you like!
-
Question 4: Is it possible to receive it on time for a birthday or holiday gift to a loved one?
I try my very hardest to accommodate all deadlines, whether it’s for a birthday, an anniversary, holiday, or an event. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me even if I am currently booked. I still may be able to fit you in depending on the time frame, size of the artwork, and the complexity of the piece however, availability is never guaranteed.
-
Question 5: What if I wanted a painting that has a different style or requires different art materials than your usual or norm?
I am always fully willing to discuss all unique aspects of your particular vision. If I say I am able to achieve creating your particular idea, then I promise to dedicate all my efforts and utilize all my abilities to make you 100% satisfied. We will be communicating along the entire process, making sure I do not miss out on one request.
-
Question 6: How soon will I receive my piece of art?
When you send me a request for a commissioned piece of art, I will give you a rough estimated timeframe as to start date and completion date.
The time it takes to complete a commissioned piece of art depends on the size of the work and the complexity. It can take anywhere from 1 day - 2 weeks & up.
Creating artwork for others is something I do not like to not rush on, and if anything, I will spend more time than needed in order to make sure it is perfect and you are fully satisfied.
Please know that taking my time is very important to me, along with the outcome of your commission.
Once started, I dedicate all my time, hours, and free days on your piece. Once finished and paid in full, I will then ship it to you for an additional fee to pay for postage.
-
Question 7: How does payment work, and what forms of payment methods are allowed?
I require a 50% non-refundable deposit once we agree on moving forward with your hand-drawn or painted piece of art and secure your place. The remaining amount can be paid in full upon completion of the artwork via bank transfer app (Zelle), PayPal, Venmo, or Cashapp.
If you’d prefer to pay in instalments or discussing a payment plan, please let me know and I can always work with you!
-
Question 8: How will my piece of art be packaged and sent to me if I am not local?
All artwork will be sent carefully packaged with love, included with a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity and instructions for care.
-
Question 9: Would you be able to record the progress or make a time-lapse for me of the entire process?
Absolutely!! I try and film the entire process of all my commissions from start to finish so I have content to share with the world. If you'd really like a process video or time-lapse, please let me know so I can make sure I record each step of the way!

Question 10: What materials do you use?
I use incredibly high quality materials to produce your artwork. It is very important to me that your commission lasts for a lifetime.
I use pastel pencils with excellent ratings to prevent fading over time, and some of the most well-known acrylic paints to ensure the best enhancement and vibrancy.
For paper, I mostly use Clairfontaine Pastelmat paper for pet portraits. This particular paper has the best reviews as it holds the pigment well, allowing me to create many layers. In the end, I do not need to use a fixative which would normally make the colors dull. I will also use other high quality professional drawing paper.
For my chosen Drawing Pencils, I mainly work with oil and wax based Stabillo Carbothello, Fabercastell polychromos, Caran D’ache Luminance pencils and Derwent colouring pencils to achieve a high level of detail within each portrait. They are great for creating many layers of fur, capturing eyes full of life, and textured noses! They also help make your drawing last a lifetime!
